The Sicor Group is one of the largest European industrial concerns in its sector.
Since its earliest origins, the company has had a marked international vocation and a
forward-looking attitude to innovation.
In over twenty years of business, the group has broadened its mission to encompass all
forms of vertical transport for persons and goods.
When Elecomp acquired 100 percent of Sicor S.p.A. in 2005, this gave the company the
opportunity to redefine its scope of business, extending its operations in many of the
world´s key markets, strengthening its organisation and implementing state of the art
production technology, with significant new investments in human resources, IT systems,
research and development, and new industrial plants and machinery.
2007 saw the foundation of Eleforce, the group subsidiary dedicated to developing and
producing all the electrical and electronic componentry necessary for the industrial
operations of Sicor, and which also manufacturers sophisticated traction motors and
solenoids. Eleforce is a company with a modern organisation and robotic assembly lines
that can even automatically wind armatures for AC2 motors, ensuring absolute uniformity
in production - a result not possible with manually wound armatures.
In 2010 the ownership of Sicor, through the holding ELECOMP, in Eleforce has been
terminated and all the equipment for the automatic manufacturing of electrical motor
have been purchased by Sicor and installed in the new building in Viale Caproni 32,
always in Rovereto(TN). Eleforce is still a SICOR supplier in reason of the high
technical level and trust reached in the common development, mainly for motor and
electromagnet.
The group continues to pursue the industrial investment programme initiated in late
2005 and continuously develops new products and new variants of existing products to
continue to offer superior quality, reliability, versatility and user-friendliness.
The group strategy is now looking to the market with a new and wide range of products
for the elevator business and not only due to the wide experience reached in the field
of the electrical motors.
